Closson & Closson, Inc. was founded in 1972 by Dave Closson.  The purpose of our firm is to develop an integrated landscape design that relates to the user, the site, the architecture, and our client .  We soon became an innovative and experienced full service landscape architecture firm. For the last 35 years, we have represented creative solutions delivered proactively, on time, and on budget. We have chosen to do various forms of projects which fall into three prime categories. Initially, we focused on financially challenged projects, but as we grew in experience and reputation, we included themed projects and have since evolved to include green projects.  These various categories of projects include residential developer projects, major retail (mixed use), mid-rise and high rise office projects, commercial-industrial projects, hotels, and mega churches.

Thirty five years of experience, represented with one continuous involved ownership, provides solid depth of experience. Dave Closson is involved in each project along with a team of experienced professionals who follow it from conception to completion, including the approval process. Continuity and focus is emphasized on each project. We offer a blend of skills and knowledge designed specifically to target the goal of your project.

Closson & Closson, Inc. has a reputation for excellence in innovative design concepts and solutions that create dynamic and stimulating results. We have been commissioned for hundreds of projects across California, Arizona, and Nevada. We provide a variety of services from the initial planning and specific plan stage of a project through to construction observation.  Initial planning is followed by a conceptual design, including design development and preliminary design.  Many times planning exhibits and budgets are developed during this stage. Final construction documents include a very specific “nuts and bolts” drawing layout process for the design. Construction observation and certification insures the implementation of the design intent.
